Published in January 1924, Aux Acacias is an elegant French fashion plate from one of the refined fashion periodicals of the interwar era.

The scene is set inside a fashionable restaurant or hotel, where stylish guests gather while a small orchestra performs in the background. In the foreground, four women display sophisticated 1920s ensembles alongside a formally dressed gentleman, creating a lively portrait of Parisian society, fashion and nightlife.

Each outfit is presented with the precision of a couture illustration. The garments include bold geometric knitwear, long draped dresses, decorative beadwork, fur-trimmed styling and the close-fitting hats associated with the decade. A restrained palette of green, black, cream, rose and brown gives the scene a polished decorative quality, while the musicians and seated diners add atmosphere without distracting from the featured fashions.

The captions beneath the image identify creations by Bernard, Paul Poiret, and Martial et Armand.

The original work was produced using lithography, pochoir stencil colouring and hand colouring, techniques particularly associated with luxury fashion publishing of the period. It measures approximately 31.5 × 24 cm.

This restored reproduction has been carefully prepared to improve clarity, tonal balance and print presentation while preserving the delicately aged paper, fine linework and hand-coloured appearance of the original page. The product gallery includes both the restored artwork and a styled interior mock-up showing how the print may appear when framed and displayed.

Refined, social and distinctly Parisian, Aux Acacias is especially well suited to a dressing room, bedroom, fashion studio, dining room or interior inspired by Art Deco style and 1920s elegance.
