Theodore Sturgeon (26 February 1918 – 8 May 1985)

Edward Hamilton Waldo, aka Theodore Sturgeon was an American fiction author.

His genres were mainly fantasy, science fiction, and horror.

He is a multi-award winner, including the 1954 International Fantasy Award for his science fiction novel, “More Than Human”.

 

Sturgeon was inducted into The Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame in 2000.

He also wrote a number of screenplays for the Star Trek: The Original Series episodes.

Two of his stories were adapted for the 1980s revival of The Twilight Zone.
