John Le Carré is the pen name for author, "David John Moore Cornwell". He is best known for his espionage & spy novels.

 

In Le Carre's "The Night Manager",  the night manager at a luxury hotel, Jonathan Pine stumbles across information involving suspicious dealings, which he then passes onto British authorities, opening up Pine and those closest to him to severe repercussions. The book tells a chilling tale of corrupt intelligence agencies, billion-dollar price tags and the truth of the brutal arms trade.
