Sir Cuthbert Gordon Greenidge (1 May 1951 - ) is a West Indian cricketer, now retired.
He played first class cricket for Barbados and the County side, Hampshire in England.
Greenidge represented the West Indies in Test cricket and One Day International (ODI).
Regarded by many as one of the most destructive test cricket openers. Greenidge batted alongside Barry Richards at Hampshire – they were regarded as one of the finest opening partnerships in post war cricket.
Over his first-class career, he scored around 37,000 runs, with an astonishing 92 centuries.
Greenidge was a member of the winning World Cup ODI Team in 1975 and 1979.
Wisden Cricketer of the year in 1977. He was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame in 2009.
