Brian Johnston (24 June 1912 – 5 January 1994) was a British cricket commentator on the BBC and author.

Christioher Martin-Jenkins (20 January 1945 – 1 January 2013) was a British cricket journalist, past President of the MCC and commentator on BBC Radio.

Trevor Bailey (3 December 1923 – 10 February 2011) was an England Test cricketer, cricket writer and broadcaster.

Henry Blofeld (23 September 1939 -) is a retired sports journalist and broadcaster.

Don Mosey (4 October 1924 – 11 August 1999) was a sports journalist and cricket commentator.

Tony Crozier (10 July 1940 – 11 May 2016) was a cricket journalist, writer and commentator - principally on West Indian cricket.

Tony Lewis (6 July 1938 - ) is a former cricketer (captaining England), journalist; and cricket commentator for the BBC.

Alan McGilvray (6 December 1909 – 17 July 1996) was an Australian cricketer and renowned Australian cricket commentator.

John Arlott (25 February 1914 – 14 December 1991) was an English journalist, author and cricket commentator.

Fred Trueman (6 February 1931 – 1 July 2006) was an accompished English cricketer (bowler), author and broadcaster.
