Francis Campbell Boileau Cadell (12 April 1883 – 6 December 1937) was a Scottish colourist painter.
The original artwork painted in oil was created by Francis Cadell in 1910. The painting depicts elegantly dressed women enjoying refreshments at the historic Cafè Florian in Venice. Cadell used vivid mediterranean colours and expressive brushwork to portray a lively café society.
