A pionering Australian aviator - the book details her beginnings in 1933, through to gaining her commercial pilot's licence, flying experiences, air ambulance commitments, helping to set up the Royal Flying Doctor Service, training pilots during WWII, flying races; and encounters with leading aviators of the time, such as, Charles Kingsford Smith.
 
Inducted to the Women in Aviation International Pioneer Hall of Fame in 2023.
