Kenneth Robert Rosewall AM MBE (born 2 November 1934) is an Australian former world top-ranking professional tennis player.
In the "open era" of tennis from 1968, Ken was the winer of 8 Grand Slam mens singles tornaments, including the Australian Open, French Open and US Open. Also a mens singles finalist at wimbledon on a four occasions. In mens doubles, Ken won 9 Grand Slam tournaments.
Ken was also a part of the winning Australian Davis Cup campaigns on 4 different occasions.
Including his Pro Majors (Amateur) period prior to 1968, Ken won a remarable 147 mens singles titles across his tennis career.
During the early to mid 1960s, Rosewall was all conquering and considered by many to be the world No. 1 tennis player in the world.
