William Selwyn was born in Wales in 1933.

After a period in national military service and private employment, William devoted his full time and attention to painting once he retired.

He is a landscape artist, predominantly working in watercolours.

William is a member of the Royal Cambrian Academy.

His works are hung at the University of North Wales; The Arts Council of Wales; National Library of Wales; Bath University, and many private collections internationally.

William was the Welsh Artist of the Year in 2001 and winner of numerous art prizes and competitions.

His works are greatly sought after.
