Condition: Previously owned. Painting itself in excellent condition. Some fading and a few minor marks on the frame.

Wim Kortland was born in Holland. He studied art at the Academy of Fine Arts, Rotterdam.

On or about 1960, he migrated to Australia.

He is predominantly a landscape painter. He has painted from locations across Australia, including:- Goulburn Valley and the Yarra Valley areas, Victoria; Northern NSW; Queensland, among others.

His works are represented in many private and institutional collections.

Wim has exhibited widely, including a major exhibition alongside renowned artist, Howard Sparks (https://artspark.com.au/page/) at the Geoffrey Hoisser Galleries in 1986.
